During her time at CHS, Denise Stephenson was her Class Vice President, involved in basketball, MCJROTC, band and Business Professionals of America, and was the captain of the Flag Corp. She went on to graduate with an associate's degree in business administration from Amarillo College, as well as earned a BBA in Business Management from West Texas A&M University.

Today, Denise is married with triplets and has worked in health insurance for 20+ years, most recently at NCW for 13 years. She has served on the Board of Directors for March of Dimes, served as a past Ambassador for MoD, and is a past ambassador and regular platelet donor at Coffee Memorial Blood Center. In addition to being a founding member and the treasurer for the Caprock Alumni Scholarship Foundation, Denise is also on the Board for Soroptimist International of Amarillo, where she volunteers with Downtown Women’s Center, Against All Odds, Sharing Hope Ministries, and No Boundaries International.
